The frames, temples, nose pads, temple tips, lenses, and hinges are made of metal or plastic and recycled. The chains, clasps, stems, hooks, sleeper earrings, charms, and findings are made of stainless steel and in new condition, as are the gemstones.
Stainless steel is a material with many advantages! It is very robust and highly resistant to water, corrosion, oxidation, rust, and humidity. It is also hypoallergenic. In reality, the term hypoallergenic means that the composition of the alloy minimizes the risk of allergies. Its protective layer of chromium oxide gives it its stainless steel properties. This steel does not require special care and will not tarnish over time. You can easily wear your stainless steel jewelry to the beach and pool!
