Upcycling, a committed choice

Upcycling is a method that involves reducing waste and maximizing the use of existing resources. This approach has a real positive impact on the environment because by giving a second life to an already existing object, we save the energy and raw materials needed to manufacture new products and we limit waste production. By turning to upcycled jewelry, you contribute to a more sustainable lifestyle. sustainable and more responsible.

Local manufacturing:
My workshop is located in Joliette, Quebec. Jovettine jewelry is imagined, created, cleaned, and handcrafted there with love and delicacy. Thank you for supporting small, independent artists by purchasing authentic handmade jewelry. Thank you for shopping with us and encouraging local purchases. I am now on  lespagesvertes.ca

Raw materials:

I promote recycling and work primarily with recycled materials made from eyeglasses. My glasses come from end-of-line optometrist items, flea markets, garage sales, donations, and unsold items from small and large stores. In addition, I use faceted gemstones, which I carefully select from my Quebec suppliers. See more

Environmentally friendly jewelry:

Gemstones are not made from organic materials, such as pearls, mother-of-pearl, shells, coral, and amber. I use stainless steel for chains and findings.

Reduction of packaging waste:

With minimalist, 100% recyclable cardboard packaging, this is an eco-friendly choice. Additionally, for larger packages, I use shredded fiber. For jewelry packaging, I opted for a small, reusable natural cotton bag with a small wipe for jewelry care. My business cards are made from 90% recycled Kraft paper.

Good habits:

To live a more responsible daily life, I try to reduce my carbon footprint as much as possible in my personal life. The same goes for my business daily life. I'll share these simple habits with you on social media.

Support for environmental causes:

Thanks to your purchases, in addition to the eco-responsible dimension of your jewelry, you allow me to take even more concrete action in the various fights led by nature protection associations. In addition, for each piece of jewelry sold, $2 will be donated to the INCA Foundation.

Reasonable delivery:

You can pick up your purchases directly from the workshop in Joliette. This is great for you and for the planet. Plus, you can come meet me and discover my products and my workshop.

Dream of a better world:

Upcycled jewelry is much more than just a fashion accessory; it's a unique piece steeped in history. By choosing upcycled jewelry, you're supporting a company committed to an eco-responsible approach. So, don't hesitate and choose upcycling for your next jewelry purchase!
